Standing schedules across Central Kentucky

Dialysis transportation that shows up three times a week, every week

We build your treatment schedule into dispatch once, so you are not rebooking every week. And when you call after treatment, our goal is a driver back to you within 45 minutes.

Whatever rotation your center runs, we build it in once.
How it is stored
A route, not a booking Your driver knows your name and address before the first ride.

Licensed and insured in Kentucky. Drivers are First Aid, AED, and CPR certified, as required by the state.

The ride home

The part everyone else gets wrong

Getting to dialysis is the easy half. It is the ride home that decides whether a transportation service is any good.

What usually happens
2 to 3 hrs You finish treatment drained, cold, and unsteady. You call for your ride and then you wait in a lobby chair, watching other people leave. Nobody can tell you when the van is coming.
What happens with us
45 min You call when you are done. Our goal is a driver back to you within 45 minutes, and it is usually closer to 30. If we are running behind, you hear from us before you have to wonder.
Why we can do it Your route is already in dispatch We know your treatment days and roughly how long you are in the chair, so the schedule is built around you rather than fitted in around everyone else.

Ask any dialysis patient what matters most and they will not say the ride there.

Ask about a standing schedule
Standing schedule

Set it up once, then stop thinking about it

One conversation covers the whole schedule. You do not call us every week.

If your schedule changes, tell us once and we change it. If you miss a week for a hospital stay, tell us and we pause it.

Infusion, and everything on the same rhythm

Any treatment that runs on a repeating schedule works the same way, and gets built into dispatch once.

Dialysis Three or more sessions a week, every week, for as long as you are on treatment. The core of what we do.
A typical week
Ohana van waiting outside an infusion clinic Weekly or biweekly
Infusion therapy Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, and biologics. Sessions run long and unpredictably, which is why the flexible return leg matters.

Wound care Twice or three times weekly appointments that run for months. Same standing schedule, same route in dispatch.
A typical week
Ohana van arriving at a rehabilitation center Booked in blocks
Physical therapy Recovery scheduled in blocks of weeks. We set the whole block up in one conversation so it stops being something you manage.

Levels of service

Both levels of service, same schedule

Not every dialysis patient uses a wheelchair, and the standing schedule works either way.

Which one fits you
Rear entry ramp on an Ohana wheelchair van Most dialysis riders
Wheelchair You stay in your own chair the whole way Rear entry ramp, four point floor securement, and no transferring at either end. After a session you are not being asked to move between seats, which is the last thing anyone wants at that point in the day. See wheelchair transportation
The same either way
Same standing schedule Same 45 minute return goal Same door through door
