Every ambulatory trip Walker friendly Door through door Flat rate, no surge
For riders who use a walker or walk on their own

Rides for people who can walk but should not drive

A driver who arrives on schedule, helps you in and out of the vehicle, and walks you into your appointment. Costs less than wheelchair service, and far more reliable than a rideshare for something you cannot miss.

Licensed and insured in Kentucky. Drivers are First Aid, AED, and CPR certified, as required by the state.

A fair question

Why not just call a rideshare

It is a fair question, and for a lunch downtown the answer is that you should. For a medical appointment, four things change.

What ambulatory transportation costs

Two things set your rate: where we pick you up and where we drop you off. There is no wheelchair loading time, which is why ambulatory service costs less.

Less than wheelchair service Loading and securing a wheelchair takes time. Without it, the trip costs less. Everything else is identical. Flat rate, not metered No surge pricing when it rains and no different figure on the way home than the one you were given. Private pay Cash, check, and card. We do not bill insurance and we are not a Medicaid broker, so there is no claim to file. Waiting is optional If you want us to wait during a short appointment, that is an add on. Otherwise we come back, at no wait charge.

Questions people ask before booking

The five that come up on almost every first call.

Three ways. Our drivers are trained for medical transport and certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR. We come to your door and walk you into your appointment rather than dropping you at the curb. And your ride is assigned and confirmed ahead of time, not requested through an app that may or may not find someone.
